Growth spurt measurement
Is your child gradually entering puberty and is he or she taking part in sports?
Then it is important that you gain insight in advance into the age at which your child will have the growth spurt.
The growth spurt generally occurs faster in girls than in boys. In girls this is around 10 to 11 years, in boys between 11 and 13 years. On average of course. Everyone evolves differently.
It is important to know when this will happen so that you can protect your child from physical overload .
This growth period already places an enormous strain on your child's body.
It may therefore be better to let your child do less strenuous sports during this period.
